I was just relieved of A-Fib. First they cardio version. Shocked my heart with around 300 joules of energy. That stopped it. Talk about relief. Next came Ablation. On the table they opened my thigh vein, inserted a catheter to my heart and burned the surface area by the A-Fib controlled area. I still feel great. Energy is back. Only complication was Sleep Apnea, while in A-Fib mode I could not sleep for days on end.My GP refused to describe sleep aids of any kind. This was incorrect. There are several sleep aids available. The GP was afraid I might stroke in A-Fib, and She would be sued. This was incorrect also. I fired that GP. She knew I had a chance of Dementia due to no sleep. She tried to kill me by doing nothing. Anyway I took Gummys(Marijuana). It saved my life until I got my procedures done.I do have 10% dementia now thanks to a cowardly and poorly trained GP. BTW, I’ve never smoked tobacco, not an alcoholic or diabetic, or obese, helping me heal.

I was diagnosed with AF two years ago. The cardiologist put me on Toprol xl,eliquis, entresto, digoxin. After six months I stopped taking them my cardiologist told me it’s very important for me to take those meds and I told him I didn’t like how I felt when I took them. He gave me two choices take the medication and listen to him or if I don’t take the medication I should go find a new doctor because im not listening to his protocol. Well it’s been over 2 years no adverse effects from not taking my medicine and I will keep going till I drop dead I’ve got no interest in taking any medication EVER. I will take supplements but no heart medication I will take my chances with my AF and if it leads to CHF so be it.

Had my first and only Episode of SVT just before I turned 19. I was very healthy but had a lot of stress. When I was diagnosed I was at the gym and my heart rate shot to 240 bpm. I got treated with adenosine at the time. I’m 22 now, not had an episode since but I do get palpitations every so often and chest pain. I don’t really know where to go from here and I’m trying my best to go back to normal but honestly I don’t know what to do.

Just had an hour and a half of my heart beat going from 80 to 120 to 180 that lasted over 1.5hours I felt so weak numb electrified so I put my oximeter on, my heart felt like coming out of my chest then my oxygen went down to 70 which made faint not knowing how low my oxygen went and my BPM high.. I was just browsing fashion websites... I'm still trying to recover how exhausted I am it happpeens often these days but hospitals don't want to see me..I have many medical conditions HYDROCEPHALUS, epilepsy, general dystonia that is too severe I have hypoxia as a result of restricted airways due to spasticity..they suspect MiTo disease but they wouldn't even want to test it or treat what conditions they already confirmed 😢😢

why do all the good people like Margaret...have a heart attack...she exercised, ate well etc. When i have known people who smoke, drink, do drugs and never have a heart attack. I think the answer is genetics...having healthy parents...life is not fair..good luck Margaret!!!! I feel 90% of your health and longevity is due to genetics....the remaining 10% is living a healthy lifestyle.

Thank you Kylie. I've just come out of CABGX3 and that was 4 weeks after my 49th birthday. No symptoms ever. Do my bloods every 6 months. 0.1cholestrol level difference in HDL & LDL. But when I got chest tightness and shortness of breath I let the ambos know I've got a history of heart attack with my mom passing away in 2011 from a heart attack. That saved my life as everybody treated me for a heart condition until my angiogram confirmed I had 90% blockage. I was worried I won't be there for my 4x kids and my wife. Today makes 5 weeks out of surgery.
